NEW TEXT AND GRAPHICS BASED HMIs FROM IMO ARE FIRST CHOICE FOR FINGERTIP FEEDBACK AND CONTROL
Leading Automation and Control specialist IMO Precision Controls has brought together the industry's biggest and most powerful line up of new HMIs for use with programmable controllers and IMO Jaguar Drives. Very competitively priced, the new range of advanced HMIs are both easy and quick to set up and are all set to become the ideal first choice for fingertip feedback and control.
The text-based HMIs offer LCD displays with LED backlight in a choice of three sizes: 4 lines by 20 characters, 4 lines by 40 characters and 8 lines by 40 characters with graphic capability. These units incorporate tactile membrane keypads offering up to 16 operation keys, 12 programmable keys and 10 status LEDs. The graphics-based HMIs employ high quality STN/TFT mono/colour touch screens, ranging in size from 5.7inches to 12.1inches.
IMO's HMIs enable communication with a wide range of devices thanks to two built-in configurable serial ports, RS232, RS485 (4 wire) and RS485 (two wire). A parallel printer port is also provided to print out customised reports. Other features include an alarm and an event logger, as well as a powerful basic scripting language to achieve complex tasks, and easy to use configuration software.
All of the displays have an operating voltage of 9 to 35 VDC,
making them ideal for automotive designs. To emphasise the
suitability of these displays for automotive use, all of the
displays conform to the new E mark standard which has been
introduced for electrical equipment used on vehicles.
