IMO unveils its enhanced range of PCB terminal blocks

Leading electro-mechanical component specialist, IMO Precision Controls, has enhanced its range of PCB terminal blocks to complete what is now one of the most comprehensive offerings in the industry.
The new range features RoHS compliance without compromising on specification, quality or cost and is designed with a number of connection mechanisms as well as a variety of pitches and electrical capabilities, in order to meet all interconnection requirements.
The broad offering includes conventional screw terminal, rising clamp, plug and socket, and screwless types, which benefit from key IMO design elements. Including steel inserts for when the application requires high contact forces and high temperature resistant plastics to meet advancing production techniques and new directives. As well as, finger protection from screws for safe usage and unique identification options, including customised coding pin arrangements and direct printing on block.
Highlights of the new range additions include high temperature terminal blocks, to suit modern reflow techniques and contribute to the reduction of manufacturing time and cost. As well as IMO's new high power pluggable and fixed terminals offering up to 57A current carrying capability with up to 750V rating and up to 10mm2 wire, and its new pitch push fit terminal blocks offering 2.54mm horizontal and vertical pitch as well as 5.08mm and 7.6mm versions for increased isolation, creepage and clearance.
A new catalogue presenting all of the new devices, as well as
the rest of the extensive range is available now. The
expanded range fully complements IMO's comprehensive range of
electromechanical components, and complies with all the major
requirements of relevant international standards.
