IMO'S PANEL-POINT SCADAlite IS PERFECT TOOL TO PROVIDE IMPROVED TRANSPARENCY AND CONTROL IN PROCESS CONTROL SYSTEMS.
IMO's new Panel-Point, a low cost, WindowTM- based SCADA solution, is the ideal tool to provide improved interaction with process control systems, delivering full colour graphical capability, high levels of data capture and control, plus a gateway to higher level supervisory data systems. A PC-based system, Panel-Point has an OPC interface, making data available to any third-party OPC client software, either running locally or on another machine on the network.
Panel-Point is a flexible, easy- to- use SCADA package that can run
on any Microsoft Windows-based system: Windows 2000, Windows XP and
Embedded Windows XP. It is designed to optimise the operation of
all IMO 'K' and 'G' series of PLCs, plus the new small but highly
functioned iSmart and i3 controllers, and the Jaguar range of
drives, including the miniature iDrive. In addition, Panel-Point
also supports devices from a wide range of third part vendors,
including Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitusbishi, Omron, Modicon,
Hitachi, Control Techniques and Baldor.
Panel-Point is configured using IMO's Configuration Manager
software. The package offers full colour graphics with animation,
unlimited data tags, a VB (visual basic) style scripting language,
recipes, alarms and event based actions. The full colour graphics
can be configured for any resolution screen including all popular
screen sizes and even custom screen resolutions. Graphics
objects include text, data items, lines, boxes, circles, ovals,
arcs, bar graphs, bitmaps, and many more. These can have dynamic
colour, movement, rotation, blink and visible properties. In
addition, any screen object can have a touch property, which can
trigger a range of actions.
There is no limit on the number of tags with Panel-Point, other than system memory; and the fully-functioned package offers multiple ports and devices, with a wide range of protocols, both serial and network.
The scope of the package is also extended by the inclusion of
features such as Recipes and Trending, and Alarm and Event logs
with configurable log viewers. Moreover, historical data logging
can be added using IMO's Loki Data Logger software to
complete the SCADA software suite. Included at no extra cost, Loki
is an OPC Client application that logs collected data to Excel,
Access or any database supported by ODBC.
