Signal Conditioning

IMO offers a comprehensive range of signal conditioning/Isolators capable of accepting a wide range of Inputs, analogue (current and voltage), thermocouple and RTD.

One of IMO’s strengths is the ability to 'tweak' the standard range of products to produce bespoke hardware and/or software for non-standard applications.

The above units can be easily configured by DIP switches to suit most applications. For more demanding and/or specialised applications IMO offers the following: FREQCON-6 Frequency to Analogue Convertor

The FREQCON-6 converter can convert virtually any frequency type input into an isolated 4-20mA or Voltage output. Any frequency between 0 and 250kHZ can be converted and almost any input voltage level can be read. MATHCON-6 Programmable Maths Unit

The MATHSCON-6 performs a maths function on two inputs and provides an isolated 4-20mA or voltage output of the result. One of the inputs is universal the other is mA or voltage only. Maths Functions include Average, Add, Subtract, Division, Multiply and Square Root. House in a 12.5mm DIN rail housing CHAMELON-6 Function Convertor

The CHAMELEON-6 is a unique function converter. Similar to a small PLC but programmed in a spreadsheet format the Chameleon can do everything from simply averaging three analogue inputs to performing full mass flow calculations for steam or natural gas. It has 3 analogue and 2 digital inputs and 2 analogue and digital outputs. the Chameleon is programmed via a RS232 or RS485 communications links using free bespoke configuration software. 420I Loop 4-20mAPowered Isolator

The 420i 4-20mA loop powered isolator is used to provide an isolated 4-20mA current loop from any existing 4-20mA loop. The isolator gets its power from the input loop and so needs no auxiliary power supply. 420TWHL Loop Powered Isolator

The 420TWHL loop powered isolator can replace standard DIN rail terminals to provide input isolation, signal conversion and RFI and noise rejection. The isolators are a 2-wire device needing a 24Vdc supply on one terminal and returning a 4-20mA on the other. The input for the HL version can be configured for 4-20mA, 0-10V or similar, see the data sheet for all the variations available. 420TWRTD Loop powered Isolator

The 420TWRTD can replace standard DIN rail terminals to provide input isolation, signal conversion and RFI and noise rejection. The isolators are a 2-wire device needing a 24Vdc supply on one terminal and returning a 4-20mA on the other. The input for the RTD version can be configured for most 2 or 3 wire PT100 sensors and temperature ranges, see the data sheet for all the variations available. 420TWTC Loop Powered Isolator

The 420TWTC can replace standard DIN rail terminals to provide input isolation, signal conversion and RFI and noise rejection. The isolators are a 2-wire device needing a 24Vdc supply on one terminal and returning a 4-20mA on the other. The input for the TC version can be configured for K,J and most standard thermocouples types and mV inputs, see the data sheet for all the variations available. 420-DIG Digital Input & Output Isolator

The 420-DIG digital isolator is typically used to provide field to input isolation for all types of digital input or output. The 420-DIG units allow PLC and other I/O cards to connect to high voltage digital inputs and to switch higher output loads. RTDHEAD-JAX19 Temperature Transmitter

The RTDHEAD is a low cost high accuracy 4-20mA output PT100 temperature transmitter with Loop Monitoring Pins suitable for mounting in most thermocouple heads.

Introducing New PB Inductive Sensors


At IMO we are continually evolving our products to ensure they remain cutting edge with the latest technology, of the highest quality to deserve the IMO brand and of course commercially attractive in a price sensitive market. This has resulted in the launch of our new PB Inductive Proximity sensor range.

The new PB range of Inductive Sensors includes M8, M12, M18 and M30 body styles in DC and M12, M18 and M30 in AC. Further expansion of the range will follow, in the meantime other body types in our existing range continue to be available on request. Overall the characteristics of any Inductive Proximity range are in principle similar but some improvements we have introduced are; greater operating voltage span (10 to 36VDC), greater AC options and the addition of crinkled washers. In addition to these improvements we continue to offer the finest quality and highest reliability in IMO products that our customers have depended upon for over 40 years. The new IMO PB range of Inductive Proximity sensors truly bridges the gap between quality and price and we invite customers new and existing to test drive our products today.
